Just started this portrait. I have a great amount of respect for this man and for his deep sense of spirituality. Growing up on St. Croix, people would say “You can draw but you have to check out Eristus’s artwork!” We later befriended eachother during our high school mentorship with Paul Youngblood. He remains an inspiration to me. I am proud to call him a friend.
